Bike riding Lessons for Kids ages 5 and up & Adults.
Yes! You can learn to ride a bicycle now! Eliminate your fear of falling. A one-on-one bike lesson provides a safe and comfortable place to start or re-start.
All lessons require a bike and a helmet. Rental bicycles and helmets are available on a limited basis. Please provide the age and height of the rider. Use the additional services section while booking to select what you need to rent.
A weekly bike and helmet rental is recommended for those that have no bikes at home, to allow the rider to complete the homework exercises. Session rentals cannot be taken home with the rider.
Our default Learn to ride package has 2 lessons to ensure you will be able to ride on your own when completed. *Riders are given exercises to complete between each session which are critical to complete their full instruction.
Our flexible scheduling options+
For those with multiple lessons, they are scheduled at the end of the first appointment, usually one week between appointments, to keep the frequency close and to allow the rider to practice the home exercises. *You have 30 days from the first appointment to complete the learn to ride package, so please plan accordingly to do the prescribed home exercises. If the lessons are not completed in that time frame, you can sign up for a brush up on riding skills single lesson to refresh your prior practice after you complete the home exercises.
Ensure that your student has a bike in riding condition when you arrive for the lesson. (* An additional Tune-up Fee is required for adjustments other than the Saddle)
If you do not have a bike for the rider(s), you must add a Weekly Bike Rental during booking so the rider can practice. You will be allowed to keep the bike for up to one week after the session, so please plan to complete lesson two within one week after lesson one, to avoid additional rental fees. Please specify the rider’s age and height to ensure we provide the appropriate bike.
Back to Back sessions are available for those who want a compressed lesson schedule due to logistics or other conflicts. (We provide a compressed schedule where you can have both sessions in one day; but it would be required that you practice on your own between the sessions and show that you can balance the bike for at least 15/30 seconds, in order to progress to session two which will be scheduled at the conclusion of session one. Our goal is to ensure that you are able to ride your bike at the end of session two, so at our discretion, session two may have to be rescheduled for another day, if you cannot balance long enough to ‘earn’ your pedals).
2. Use the Brush up on Riding Skills single session if you need to refresh prior practice, training or riding skills or those that failed to complete the homework for the Learn to ride package.
One lesson to reconnect you with your bike and make sure you can comfortable ride, stop, shift and turn with no difficulty.
Learn balance, braking, steering, stopping, and starting
Learn how to properly shift your bicycle while riding and not get caught in the wrong gear(s).
Practice biking with personalized instruction: We answer all your cycling related questions during the session
3. Mobile Offsite Learn to Ride Session
If you want us to bring the lessons to your place of business or residence, we provide offsite bike riding lessons within a 40-70 mile radius of the Woodlands, priced with an additional trip fee which must be selected at booking based on your distance from our location.
You will be sent an instructional video on how to setup the bike for balance practice. You will be given homework exercises and instructed to film the rider when they have completed the homework and send the video to us.
After reviewing the video, we will contact you to schedule the onsite training.
In the one onsite training session, we will cover everything needed to ride safely and leave with the student riding successfully.

On Average, a kid will take 45-120 minutes to learn the basics of riding. On the other hand, an adult takes an average of 2-3 days to learn to ride a bike. Even some kids may need more than 2 lessons to get fully comfortable riding a bike, which is why our learn-to-ride package has a minimum of 2 sessions but some riders may need a *third session, to ensure that you will have the proper amount of instruction before we set you loose on your own. If you faithfully complete the ‘home exercises’ after lesson one, you will not need any additional sessions.
Those requiring a third session will be charged as a brush-up lesson. This is usually determined during session 2, when we find that the home exercises were not fully completed.
