⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I cannot recommend Veloharmony Bicycles enough! Mr Nims helped teach my daughter how to ride her bike in literally 5 minutes or less & the experience was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The service was excellent — very communicative, patient, kind, and incredibly great with kids. He made my daughter feel comfortable and confident right away, and you can truly tell he cares about helping children learn the right way. One of the most helpful things he explained was how training wheels can actually be counterproductive when it comes to learning how to truly balance and ride a bike independently. His approach worked so much better than anything we had tried before. A+++++++ service all around. Professional, knowledgeable, encouraging, and genuinely passionate about what he does. We will absolutely be back for any future bicycle needs!

If you need your bike repaired immediately, this is the place to go! My husband and I visited Veloharmony on a holiday, and Eldred happily fixed and maintained our bikes. We picked them up two hours later, and they looked like new (they’ve been in our garage for over four years). We appreciated his patience and the detailed explanation of everything he did and why it was important. We can't thank him enough, and we will definitely be returning.
Took a bike I was gifted from a neighbor and booked a consult since I wasn't sure what was causing the noise and resistance on the wheel. Eldred instantly knew the bikes model and told me about its riding style and recommended a tune up to fix a few issues the bike had. He fixed it so fast, was so knowledgeable, and is so very kind. I was nervous about riding again after so long and he took time to set me up for success with some drills and adjusted the bike to my body. I always try to support local business, and this is one that has given me every reason to never take my bike anywhere but here. He's that good.
You don’t get service line this anymore. Eldred is the real deal—a bike obsessed former racer determined to share his passion with everyone he talks to. Need your bike fixed? Done. Need grandmas tricycle from 1942 restored? Done. Wanna learn how to improve your triathlon time? Done. The guy is amazing.
Whether you are an experienced rider or just starting out, you will want to come and spend time here. He refurbished my wife's bike and did an excellent job. Now he is working through updating the bike to fit her because everyone is different. He takes the time to explain everything and does very high-quality work.
I brought my recumbent trike in for an upgrade and in the end I took home what was in essence a brand new ride. Eldred pays attention to detail and doesn’t rush through the work. He knows his stuff. He explains things thoroughly and makes sure the customer understands completely. I would put Veloharmony at the pinnacle of bike repair shops certainly in Harris county and elsewhere.
Great shop and awesome service. He's a professional at what he does and takes his time making sure your bike is in great shape. He's very detailed and does such a good job even pointing out areas where you need adjustments so you're all set! Glad we found this bike shop.

Eldrid is an awesome ! He fixed my bike the same day and was super honest , turns out it only needed air in the tires. He didn’t try to upcharge me or push anything unnecessary. On top of that, he gave me a bunch of helpful tips on how to properly ride and take care of my bike. Straight-up, reliable, and really knows his stuff. Highly recommend! 🚴♂️
I found Veloharmony after taking my daughter’s bike to a local bike store for a tune up, and realizing they didn’t really do everything they were supposed to do. The pedals started to lock up after that tune up, so I decided to find somewhere else to fix it. Eldred was very thorough in his inspection of the bicycle, and he was able to fix all the things the bike shop missed, like the brake pads, the loose pedals, the out of alignment steering frame, and the locked up pedals. He made sure the seat was also the right height for my daughter and made recommendations for future maintenance as she continues to grow. He even watched as my daughter rode the bike to make sure it was comfortable for her. I will definitely be bringing my own bike here as well for a tune up and maintenance. Great customer service!
I brought my daughter's bike in for some much needed repair. Everything was explained so thoroughly about what needed to be done and why. 5 short days later, and I brought my daughter to pick up her bike! To her surprise, it looked like a brand new bike! Time was spent to adjust everything to fit her perfectly, and for the first time since getting the bike over a year ago, she had a HUGE smile on her face and actually ENJOYED riding it again! I cannot recommend Veloharmony more! So knowledgeable, thorough, honest and quick! Thank you for everything!
ELDRED! What a beautiful and amazing human he is. it has been years since i’d touched my bike and it had sat outside on my apartment patio for some time and needed some TLC. I googled bike repair shop near me, and Veloharmony, eldred’s shop was my number one pick from the reviews alone and after discovering how seamless it was for me to schedule an appointment and pickup time for my bike, I was sold. He cares and takes the utmost time and attention to make sure you feel safe and comfortable on your bike and that is it ready to support whatever adventure it is you want to go on. Being sent home with knowledge and expertise so I can know how to care for my bike was also so nice to have. I couldn’t be more grateful to have found a business and person like him to help me with something that is so foreign to me. I will forever be recommending Eldred/Veloharmony for as long as he stays in the bike repair business. A true gem of a human.
Extremely fast, knowledgeable, and professional. Tuned up a bike for my daughter that we found on the side of the road. Done in 1 day and came back better than new. It looks as if every detail (down to individual screws) was attended to and that great pride was put into his work.

Knowledgeable and a great teacher! My daughter did a bike repair class with Eldred, and she learned how to change a flat tire, and other great tips. Eldred was an excellent teacher, and it was very hands on. He even examined her bike and did a small tune-up. He is super knowledgeable and friendly, and I'd trust him will all bike needs!
I ride a Canyon Endurace 8.0, which I fitted myself, and looked into Veloharmony due to significant outer knee pain. After getting my bike fitted I went from having knee pain prevent me from cycling more than ~30 miles at a time, to having none. I was able to bike 40 miles right after having my bike fitted without any knee pain. Eldred spent a lot of time with me to make sure the fit was perfect and that I was happy with it. He also gave me plenty of tips on how to improve my form, advice on how to maintain the bike, etc. I was very satisfied with the service.
Very pleased with Veloharmony! My husband’s bike had 2 flat tires. While Eldred could have ripped us off (originally I thought both wheels had to be completely replaced) he politely explained that it was just the tube that needed to be replaced. He even cleaned the bike for us and adjusted the handlebars. We dropped the bike off Saturday afternoon and picked it up Sunday afternoon! He works quick and at a great, reasonable price. Eldred is a hidden gem and I would recommend anyone with bike issues to call him!
Took my bike in for much needed repairs and a tune up. Eldred took the time to show me what repairs were needed and discussed in detail how the different parts functioned. My bike was ready in less than 24 hours and was better than new! He took the time to adjust the seat for me and taught me how the gears worked. Riding my bike has never felt so good. I was gliding! He had me ride around to see that everything was working right and gave me tips on my posture and how to handle my bike. This was more than a bike repair- it was an experience! I met someone skilled in his trade, knowledgeable and passionate about it. The pricing was reasonable. Dropped off my kids bikes and can’t wait to see the look on their faces when they find that their bikes ride better than new! A overall awesome experience!!! I will definitely recommend!! Elizabeth
