“Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do”.
“If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle. As with all matters of the heart, you’ll know when you find it. And, like any great relationship, it just gets better and better as the years roll on.” ( The lateSteve Jobs-Co-founder of Apple)
We are an independent local bicycle shop, specializing in new, used and custom bicycles, parts, and accessories. We offer full service repair on all types of bicycles and a 24-hour expedited service on bikes of any brand (excluding certain e-bike models & bikes needing special order parts for a nominal rush fee).

You may find other shops with more affordable repair rates. We make no apologies for what we charge. We are extremely meticulous and our attention to detail is anal, bordering on ridiculous. We care for your bike like it was our own. We stand behind our work and offer a 30 day warranty period on all our services. Who else offers that to you? Peace of mind and quality work that’s what makes us different. If anything, and we mean anything is not to your satisfaction; we repair, adjust or replace it at no cost to you!
We provide an assessment of your bike and will give you the option of deciding whether you want to invest in your current bike or purchase a new one, based on the history and brand of bike you bring in for service. Bike Assembly
Should I pay to have my bike assembled?
Yes.Hands down. A bike has many adjustments on it that need to be made, often times using very specific tools, requiring expert bike maintenance skills.
There is more to assembling a bicycle than, just putting it together. The bike must be finely tuned by a technician to make it bike run better, feel better, and last longer; ensuring your safety.
Out of the box, the bike is put on a stand, and visually inspected for any flaws, defects or shipping damage. The brakes, wheels, wheel bearings, bottom bracket and headset bearings require proper adjusting for your bike to function well.
Bikes are routinely shipped with maladjusted bearings, misaligned wheels, maladjusted brakes, flawed or poorly adjusted shifting systems that need to be tuned to avoid damage and diminish your riding experience. This ensures you won’t end up with a defective bike, right out of the box and ruin your cycling experience.
Bikes purchased from big box stores like Academy, Amazon, Walmart, Dick’s, Target, Online, etc. are not properly tuned and can be unsafe and not fun to ride.
Unless your bike was purchased from an actual ‘bike shop’, here are just a few of the issues that all bikes from the factory need corrected or adjusted.
Full Inspection and adjustment of handlebars, stem, headset, cranks, pedals, wheels, tire wear and pressure, brakes, gears, chain, seat post and saddle plus:
Inspect, adjust, and lube drivetrain (derailleur, chain, cassette, chain rings, shifters, and cables)
Inspect and adjust hubs and bearings
True Wheels and ensure proper spoke tension
Inspect, lube, and/or grease all other components
Test ride
So make sure before riding a bike you ordered online or picked up from the local big box store(s), that you get it tuned up by a competent bicycle mechanic and pay the *extra cost for a bike fit: the seat height and bars are set properly for your ergonomic riding comfort.
Our bike assembly does not include a bike fit. Proper settings for your seat height, handlebars and bar levers are at an additional cost.
Bike fits with Tune-ups are discounted..please ask when you drop off the bike to get the discount
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to diagnose or estimate repairs over the phone. text or email. Setup and appointment to bring your bicycle into Veloharmony to receive an accurate estimate of cost and turn-around time.
